Adult Sunday School Classes for Spring 2024

Ted Talks from Matthew

The book of Matthew is built around a framework of five major discourses, the most famous of which is the Sermon on the Mount. The class will work through the second and third discourses, which include instructions to the disciples before their short-term mission trip and a collection of parables devoted to the subject of the kingdom of heaven. The class will be a mixture of teaching and discussion.

This class will be led by Matt Quick and meet in the Library

Truth on Trial V

In Psalm 11:3 the Scriptures say: “If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?”

Across the Western world, let alone the U.S., there has been a cultural shift away from the Bible, away from the church, and away from God. The Foundation upon which the Western Culture was built was the Bible, the Word of God. Somehow, this foundation is being destroyed. And it has something to do with what’s happening to our youth.

In this fifth addition of Truth on Trial, we will be taking a new look at the significance of the Word in the battle for truth.

As always, come with your Bibles, come with your questions and your doubts; but mostly come to have your Christian life refreshingly challenged and supported. Led by Ken Parkhurst in the Dahl Center.

Prayer Group

You can also join Steve Butterfield for prayer in the choir room during the Sunday school hour.
